The House Quilt Project: The Perfect Placement of House Quilts on the Walls

The House Quilt Project was established in June of 2010, to assist Furnishing Hope, who works with designers to create interior rooms and entire houses to help those in need.

About Me
I live in Southern California and am a mixed media fiber artist who believes in giving back to my community with "The House Quilt Project." I work with individual quilters to coordinate the making of patriotic house quilts for the walls of rooms for individuals wounded in service to our country, and Habitat for Humanity. The list of projects that we have done are in this column of information.

The Project
Quilt artists are making house quilts at their own expense, and are donated to a specific project. Each house quilt is 12" wide by 16" high and hangs on the wall. See "Criteria" in the upper tabs for more information.

Since the project began, over a 100 house quilts have been made on behalf of Furnishing Hope. Please consider making a house quilt for one of our on-going projects!
