About Furnishing Hope
Founded in 2004, Furnishing Hope’s mission is to improve the living space for people in need, one room at a time.
Accomplishments: - Furnished 5 homes for members of the Wounded Warrior Battalion since January 2010. These returning military sustained combat injuries in Iraq and Afganistan.
- Furnished and decorated 60 homes built by Habitat for Humanity. Eleven homes in the San Juan Capistrano project homeowners were for military families.
- Furnished and decorated 16 apartments for Orangewood Foundation's Rising Tide Community.
- Provided complete home furnishings for three, low income families who lost their homes to fire for the American Red Cross.
Projects to be completed before the end of 2010: - One 22 bedroom facility for Veterans First, sheltering 30 homeless, disabled veterans in Anaheim.
- Any Wounded Warrior Battalion member needing our assistance.
