Laurie had strong feelings about making these quilts for such a great project, for which I am quite thankful. These just make me smile. I am sure that whoever gets one of these will be pleased. |

Heart of the Home
Heart of the Home is a new part of The House Quilt Project. It is for women and children that are moving out of homelessness. Furnishing Hope will be heading up this project, for which we will be providing cheerful, bright, fun, whimsical house quilts that are just the thing needed to brighten up their lives just a tiny bit. House quilts measure 14x14.
Pop tops or rings have been hand sewn on the upper backs of the quilts. I asked some friends to make Heart of the Home house quilts in June of last year, so I will be posting these to the blog. This day, February 7, 2017 officially marks the official beginning of the project for Furnishing Hope and for us. Above whimsical house by Cindy Cooksey.
